Our Story
Building a Legacy from St. Vito, Italy to Toronto, Canada
In the charming town of St. Vito, Italy, a young and energetic Vito Doria embarked on a journey into the world of construction at the tender age of thirteen. Immersing himself in various construction trade skills, including masonry, ceramic tiling, and brick laying, Vito laid the groundwork for a future steeped in craftsmanship.
At the age of eighteen, Vito set his sights on Toronto, Canada, where he sought to re-establish himself in the construction industry. Driven by the hope of one day passing on his wealth of knowledge to his own children, Vito’s dedication to his craft continued to grow.
In 2013, the culmination of years of hard work manifested as his eldest son, Robert, took the reins and established Doria Construction Incorporated (DCI). Under Robert’s stewardship, DCI has evolved into a leading force in residential, commercial, and institutional construction.
Remaining true to its roots, DCI is a family-run business, honoring ancestral core values of hard work, quality assurance, and care.
